What you can do here
Rate anything from half a star to five, in halves. Write a review, and mark it as containing spoilers if it does. Keep a watchlist, and for shows, tick off the episodes you have actually watched — Critic Shelf works out what counts as "watched" from that, your rating and your review, rather than asking you to flag it separately.
Pick a top five films, shows, actors and directors, and arrange the rest into shelves of your own — up to three, each public or private, named however you like. Rate five titles and Compare unlocks on your profile: how much your taste overlaps with someone else's, what you both loved, and the one you'd argue about.
Follow other people to see their reviews, and follow the cast and crew you care about from any title page.
Where the data comes from
This product uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB. Every poster, synopsis, cast list and release date in Critic Shelf is pulled live from TMDB's catalogue. The ratings and reviews are entirely Critic Shelf's own — nothing here is imported from TMDB's review feed.
