Revolves around the lives of Ukrainian teenagers in a secondary school class. The teenagers struggle with bullying, including the Blue Whale Challenge, lack of parental support, suicidal behavior, LGBT identity crises-a subject that is rarely portrayed on Ukrainian television-alcoholic parents, and speech disabilities. In one of the show's main plot lines, the main characters are stalked on the Internet by an anonymous person who pretends to be their friend.
“First Swallows: Z@lezhni” is the second season of the cult Ukrainian teen series. It is not a direct continuation of the first season, and viewers will see familiar actors in completely different, unexpected roles. Contrasting characters, relevant issues, and a genuine look at the lives of young people—lives filled with fear, rebellion, and addictions, each with their own unique struggles. Will the characters manage to overcome their addictions and escape the death that… a Friend is driving them toward?
