PLOT
Damascus in the 1920s — a city holding its breath under French occupation. As tensions simmer between those who resist and those who collaborate, the neighbourhoods of the old city become a stage for love, betrayal, honour and conflict. Rich with the textures of Damascene life, Scent of Damascus is a sweeping Syrian period drama that brings one of history's most turbulent chapters to life through deeply human stories.
