PLOT
Star Struck (TV Series)
Star Struck is a high-energy, stylish sitcom that highlights Maureen Ruby Jackson’s comedic timing and her flair for high-end fashion. Set in the fast-paced "concrete jungle" of the New York fashion scene, the series follows the meteoric rise of a young visionary determined to dress the world.
Maureen stars as Stella, a brilliantly talented and ambitious designer who refuses to take "no" for an answer. Unlike her previous roles as the humble farm girl or the abused survivor, Stella is a powerhouse boss in the making. Armed with a diamond-encrusted sewing kit and a "Great Voice" for leadership, she navigates the cutthroat world of runway rivalries, eccentric models, and high-stakes galas.
