PLOT
Renowned chefs Alexander Kumptner, Frank Rosin, and Ali Güngörmüş are embarking on a fresh culinary journey, this time traveling through Australia. Following three seasons spent exploring the United States together, the trio now turns their attention to the continent known for its sweeping Outback and distinctive food culture — from seafood and grilled specialties to native bush ingredients, locally caught barramundi, and celebrated regional wines.
In this series, chefs Ali Güngörmüş, Frank Rosin, and Alexander Kumptner trade fine dining for the open road as they journey across Australia in a camper van. Moving from lush rainforests to bustling coastal cities and the vast interior, they dive into local environments, meet the people who shape regional food cultures, and face situations far removed from restaurant life. Encounters with wildlife, time spent with First Nations communities, and hands-on experiences with local producers shape the trip, while moments of adventure—from ocean encounters to life on remote farms—turn the journey into a broader exploration of the country’s landscapes, traditions, and flavors.
