Luke Mikael

Luke Mikael is an independent filmmaker, writer, and lifelong lover of cinema. His work is drawn to stories of memory, identity, isolation, mortality, and the strange spaces between reality and imagination. Influenced by both classic and contemporary cinema, he is particularly interested in filmmakers who use atmosphere, symbolism, and visual storytelling to explore philosophical questions. Alongside filmmaking, Luke writes fiction and runs an independent creative practice spanning film, literature, philosophy, and art. He is currently developing several short films and working toward his first feature.
