PLOT
A deeply moving performance... one of those nights when it was a privilege to be at the Met." That's how the New York Times described the company's 2001 revival of Berg's Wozzeck, conducted by James Levine and captured in this extraordinary telecast. Falk Struckmann stars in the towering title role of the disturbed, mistreated soldier, opposite Katarina Dalayman as Marie. This premiere marks the first commercial release of a Wozzeck recording conducted by Maestro Levine.
