PLOT
Wilson and Brando road trip through Texas. Their deep bond is highlighted by intimate moments, including a first kiss on a rooftop and a flashback of them kissing in Brando's car during a lightning storm. By the end of summer, Brando grows distant and avoidant. After an argument at a bar where Brando abandons Wilson to play pool with a woman, Wilson returns to their motel alone. Brando ultimately leaves him stranded. Months later, Wilson is back at university trying to move on. They unexpectedly reunite at a supermarket and retreat to Brando's RV. Though Wilson leaves in the night out of fear, he arrives home to find Brando waiting, and they embrace.
