PLOT
THE 1993 UK TOUR. HAMMERSMITH APOLLO, LONDON. Numan's effect on his audience is almost mystical. His songs open doors into a mind and into a heart that doesn't quite think like you or I. To know the real Gary Numan is virtually impossible, but this is about as close as most people will ever get. Without doubt Numan's shows are amongst the most spectacular and visually stunning in the world. The Dream Corrosion tour featured a remarkable set that lasted for well over two hours. He played 27 songs, from That's Too Bad, his first vinyl release, to Machine And Soul, his very latest. Numan has more energy than a nuclear explosion, more attitude than is healthy, but if you like your heroes to be different, to be larger than life, this is the man for you. Joined by some of the best musicians in the business, Dream Corrosion is a tour de force of all that is special about live music. Pop, Rock, call it what you will, the show sets a standard that others will find hard to equal.
