PLOT
The elders are hungry; the men and the government are absent. Renee, a 30-something Cree woman sets out to hunt, kill, butcher, and smoke, a wild animal ten times her size - with only three sisters to help. Visually stunning, poetic and real, a Cassevettes of the North; blasting gender roles, tradition, and modernity, all in one shot.
